Cell Division

Cell division is the process by which cells multiply themselves for growth and repair of tissues.

Two kinds of cell division

· Mitosis.

· Meiosis.

Mitosis:

Mitosis is the process of cell division by which the cytoplasm and the nucleus of the cell are divided equally in to two identical daughter cells.

Meiosis:

Meiosis is a special type of cell division that yields haploid daughter cells from a haploid parent cell .
